The beaming skin! The ultracropped hair! Tanzanian model Herieth Paul, the newly minted face of Maybelline New York and runway savant, spills her beauty secrets.
Clean Sweep: My skin is dry, so I use micellar water (2) when I wake up because it's gentle. I moisturize with argan oil by Josie Maran (3), the light one. At night, Aesop Amazing Cleanser is so good—I use it with my Clarisonic.
Skin Fix: For castings, I mix foundation with Maybelline concealer (1) in Cafe and spot-apply it where I need it. My top lip is darker than the bottom, so I also put concealer on my lips to even their color.

Master Class: [Makeup icon] Pat McGrath uses whatever's around her. She taught me you don't need to find the most expensive thing.
Hair Rules: Every day, I use a mix of olive oil and shea butter, and on weekends I make my own mask with bentonite clay—it's, like, $5 on Amazon; you just add water and let it coat your hair for 20 minutes until it dries. It gives a nice shine and cleans your scalp. I never use shampoo.
Natural Woman: I came to New York with a weave, but my agency was like, "clients want you to shave your head." So I finally shaved my head, and I've been so happy since. I felt so basic with long hair.

Snack Attack: I make amazing granola bars with oats, ginger, and peanut butter; I freeze them instead of baking them.
Lip Love: I like matte lipstick. I love a red look against my skin. I'm taking more chances with makeup—I'm tired of nude. I'd love to wear a gold lip with gold brows—in a white pantsuit!
Say Cheese: Activated charcoal from Whole Foods is "antibacterial and whitens your teeth," Paul says. "You can put it on your toothbrush or rinse your mouth with it."
Juiced Up: Paul enjoys juice for on-the-go sustenance between shows. Our fave: the pear-beet-ginger from NYC café The Butcher's Daughter.
