This post is simply so I can show off my love for DKNY. As you can see below, when it comes to fashion they just get it! Chic, modern, stylish and always unique. They have proven year after year that they are here to stay.
Fall weather is right around the corner, prompting us all to rethink our wardrobes for the new season. And with autumn comes one of our favorite accessories—the hat. Whether it's a classic felt fedora or an of-the-moment beret, nothing heralds fall's arrival quite like a chic chapeau. Click through to shop the best versions of the season's must-have toppers.
With just the right amount of sex appeal and masculinity, the Fall 2016 DKNY collection has created quite a buzz in the industry. DKNY has always been iconic in fashion for their ultra-sleek color palette, silhouettes, and versatile collection of clothing for both men and women. This year they continue to make their mark on the industry. With the Fall season being so full of mundane, and “frou frou” textiles; DKNY shows that edginess is something effortless to achieve.
Overall the collection carries a monotone color palette; black, white, with notes of blue and red. The trans-seasonal value of the collection should be taken into consideration. The collections featured elaborate lace pieces which could transfer easily into the spring/summer months. There’s a sort of toughness to the collection in terms of design, which is especially evident in the blazers and trousers. With the combination of delicate silks and lush tweeds, it softens the edginess, thereby giving the collection just the right amount of femininity to be considered formal womenswear. The play on textures is interesting. One look combined a furry fabric with pinstripe cotton. The jacket of the look was cropped, giving the classic style a unique modern spin. The bubble jacket and the extra-long sleeves on one piece in particular was adorable and fitting for the season.
DKNY continues to be an iconic representation of quality fashion. Their Fall 2016 collection offers a variety of looks, and could suite any taste level.
